Our new observatory is finished!
Hello everyone, this video is about capturing some photos of space from our new remote observatory in Central Texas. The sky conditions out here are bortle 1, so they provide a rare pristine view of the night sky that few people can access. I took photos of Rho Ophiuci, the Andromeda galaxy, and WR134.
Our observatory where I captured this video can be found here: starfront.space/
Our mission is to make dark skies and remote observing more affordable for everyone, if you want to learn more or sign up, I invite you to check out our website.
Also, in the WR134 image, I ran into some filaments I hadn't seen before. As it turns out, a colleague Julian Shapiro reached out to me some months back ...

Hey everyone, this video is about the starfront remote observatory. I show you its construction in progress, and explain more of the methodology behind our observatory. I also give you a breakdown of the basics for what is required for remote observing. You can find our website for pier reservations here: starfront.space/ The power strip I'm recommending is this one: www.amazon.com/Kasa-Smart-P...

We discovered a HUGE supernova remnant in Cassiopeia
Просмотров 11 тыс.6 месяцев назад
This video tells the story of the discovery of SNR G107.5-5.2, the Nereides Supernova Remnant in Cassiopeia. Currently, the largest known supernova remnant to ever be discovered by amateur astronomers. This nebula was discovered and photographed as an international effort alongside my friends Marcel Drechsler, Yann Sainty, Nicolas Martino, and Richard Galli. We found and photographed this entir...
The Moon WOBBLES and I captured it on camera!

Moon Prints Here: bit.ly/3RNdAZ6 In this video, I capture the moon every day for a lunar month to show how the moon appears to wobble from our vantage point. This is an optical and physical effect called libration. I use my telescopes at home and in my observatory to capture the moon. beating JWST at astrophotography with my $500 lens
Просмотров 11 тыс.8 месяцев назад
In this video I take you along with the process of capturing a photo of Sh2-216, an elusively faint and large planetary nebula in Perseus. In fact it is the largest PN in our sky. I try to illustrate the optical differences between JWST and my camera lens, and how they can each lead to different but relevant outcomes in astronomy. Neither can fulfill the role of the other, and so I believe the ...

Did someone captured a galaxy?
Great video. Thanks! Concerning RMS errors, (Total, RA & Dec) I am sure you are aware that this is actually a right triangle with the hypotenuse being Total RMS. The side adjacent and side opposite represent the DEC and RA. If the DEC and RA are unequal then the stars will be egg shaped. But if they are equal (or at least close to equal) then the stars will be round. OK fine. I have searched and searched trying to find the adjustments (in PHD2) that will help to achieve this without any luck. I have come close adjusting the RA minmo and the DEC minmo but the results are far from stable. Any thoughts on this? Anyone?
Bro is Hubble Telescope 💀
He can’t even remake this for Phoenix A* because it’s in the heart of the far off Phoenix A galaxy cluster.
I am so stoked that there are just normal dudes out here who have super nerd gear that allows them to see the sun.
If this zoom is possible, why not do a literal street view of the moon?
Fake. black holes don't reflect light
its the uterrly MASSIVE accretion disk that surrounds ton 618, next time do your research...🥰
Bro wqs like 🦩🌒🌓🌔🌓🌒🌓🌔🌓🌒🌓🌔🌓🌒🌓🌔
Last night (sat) seen what looked like lights moving on the moons surface.. they were on the bottom right like 5 o clock position..
What about Phoenix A
Whats scary is the diameter of this Ton-618 blackhole is said to be twice the size of milkyway's diameter, glad it is millions of lightyear away from us
So does phoenix A star not exist
bros getting eaten alive😭🙏
Divide the light years by hubbles constamr u will get actual age
It's 10.37B ly away not 16B
34:36 "The star could've done better when it blew up" and all the shade towards globs 😂
Bro forgot phoenix a
Where to find more info on how to procedure with a remote’rig at your site ?
Wait i swear i saw godzilla at top corner right💀💀💀💀💀💀
Awesome pics n great song choice…Chris Nolan n Hans are definitely somewhere smilin #Interstellar
As he is zooming in I’m like “hey that’s a galaxy he casually passed by” crazier than that we jus looked back 10 plus billion years into the past…it’s mind boggling fascinating n scary at the sametime our universe is
correct me if im wrong but you wouldnt be able to see it because of the event horizon
how to worsen to the already bad reputation of the AVX

What ?
Hi
Hello
Why do ppl always say Ton 618 is biggest ARE U STUID CUZ PHOENIX-A is
If only we were all creative enough to make our own scopes XD. I'm jumping straight from a 6mm refractor into a higher end Celestron like the 6se or 8. I know I will save more money over the long run by biting the bullet once spending the 600 to a 1k on a 6se or 8se. Buying say 5 mediocre scopes over a few year period could collectively cost near a grand, only to top it off with a big boy scope when you realize the limitations of the cheaper ones. Most people if you really enjoy astronomy on a cheap scope should bite the bullet as well and get a 500+ dollar scope from a good company. You won't regret the investment! Not to mention you can find great deals on used scopes, so you don't have to pay MSRP necessarily. If 500 bucks is intimidating, look at it like this... A fraction of your yearly tax return could give you decades of memories! Instead of buying goofy upgrades for your daily, get you a big boy scope instead lol!
Phoenix A
"He showed, I agreed!"
if thats easily why nasa and esa dont photgraphing this ? .d
Omg please help me
Phoenix a*= 🫥🫥
Don't try this at home! You can only do this twice. With your right and left eye.
I'm so curious to know how the person who made the first solar filter, dared to test it on a human eye for the first time 😮😂
wait, if the universe was created 13billion years ago.. and ton 618 we are seeing is 18 billion years ago.. so ton 618 was created before the universe?😢
Bray, we added your website to our remote observatory database on our website. Good luck to you and your team!
Former girlfriend, after she sees this!
Its phoenix A* not ton 618
Black holes are invisible
Last was lord Vishnu 😦 🙏
Imagine that vs the largest Star in the universe
Why does the sun look yellow? Isn't it white?
Filter I guess
@@ehe_.-.Thanks! I would like to make people think of sun color! So they don't believe sun is yellow/orange!
@@SCIENTIFICTARGETcolour is added. He’s shooting with a monochrome camera which increases the amount of data that can be captured. Since he’s imaging through a hydrogen alpha filter it would make sense (be more true) if the sun was actually a deep red colour.
how can you see a black hole when it sbsorbs light it dosent reflect light then how
Do the filaments look similar to the ones on the sun flares?
